About Wandervine

Wine has always been about more than what’s in the glass. It’s about the place that made it, the person who grew it, and the story that travels with every bottle from cellar to table.

Wandervine was built by Alejandro, a sommelier based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, with roots in more than one culture — someone who grew up between languages and tables, and found that wine was one of the few things that made sense across all of them. Not through formal training, but through years of paying attention. Traveling. Asking questions. Watching people light up not when they heard tasting notes and scores, but when they heard a story — about a small producer working land nobody else wanted, a forgotten grape making a comeback, a winemaker who bet everything on a single vineyard.

That’s the wine experience Wandervine is built around. Not jargon. Not points. Just the human story behind every bottle, made accessible to anyone curious enough to ask.

Scan — Scan any label and get a personal verdict tailored to your taste. Search by wine, grape, or region to explore before you buy.

Guide — Talk to Solera, your wine guide. Ask about a pairing, a wine’s story, or where to find it in person, a real conversation, not a form to fill out.

Pair — Match a wine to a dish, a mood, or a song. Find the bottle that fits the moment you’re actually in.

Plan — When a bottle makes you want to go somewhere, build a wine country itinerary stop by stop. Wineries, restaurants, and the places worth finding along the way.

Journal — Log every wine you taste and build a passport of every region you visit, one stamp at a time.

The app is bilingual — English and Spanish — because wine doesn’t belong to one language or one culture. It belongs to anyone curious enough to open a bottle and ask what’s behind it.
